My Story
Donovan Sienko
I grew up in the Midwest during 60’s and 70’s, graduating from high school in 1979. Enjoyed the ultimate freedoms of a pre-internet and no cell phones world!
After high school I went to radio school to be a disc jockey, then found out how big egos could really get and decided to keep managing the liquor store I was running part time while going to school. My boss was my 1st mentor who taught me a great deal about making money in business and the importance of relationships.
In 1984 Coors and Stroh’s beer came to Minnesota. A new distributor started and I was asked to join as a salesperson. The Wirtz family that owns the Chicago Blackhawks NHL hockey team were the owners, another great opportunity to meet dozens of successful people. This is where I homed my sales and organization skills.
In 1995 Jake Leinenkugel came calling to work for Leinenkugel’s brewery out of Chippewa Falls, WI. Miller Brewing Company, owned by Fortune One Philip Morris at the time, also owned Leinie’s. I received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees while there. Also, more opportunities for Fortune One sales and personal growth training and meeting successful people from all walks of life. The Masters program really opened my eyes and changed the way I viewed so many things. It was a great ten years!
Since then, I have owned a fine dining-waterfront restaurant, an insurance and financial services agency, started a brewery, creating the world’s first Hard Seltzer, and finally got my real estate license, working as a realtor part time since 2015 in Minnesota. All the while honing my sales and listening skills while creating and implementing systems and processes to strive for seamless real estate transactions.
In 2024 in moved to The Villages, Florida. I had previously visited a few times and was just amazed at the opportunity and growth in and around The Villages. Since then, I’ve spent over a year learning the ins and outs of The Villages, bonds, CDD’s, MLS, VLS, FAR BAR and “as-is” contracts just to name a few nuances of Florida real estate and past my license exam becoming a Realtor.
I am successful in sales because I ask open-ended questions that identify the wants and needs of my clients and then I help them achieve their goals. I have systems and processes in place, and can easily explain them, to take the anxiety and unknown out of the equation. This is a formula that my clients have appreciated for decades, and I would be honored to work with you. Donovan.
